Please consider joining our growing list of Business Sponsors in 2018.

The Chippewa Watershed Conservancy (CWC) works to help individuals and families preserve the natural heritage of Mid-Michigan. We do so by placing conservation easements on private lands to assist landowners in protecting their lands from further development, and by accepting land donations or acquiring land through simple fee purchase. These protected lands create links establishing essential corridors for wildlife movement, and preserve the necessary food, shelter and territory they need to grow their populations and to thrive. By protecting entire ecosystems, wildlife develop the viability to adapt to changes to their landscapes over time.

You can find our preserves – 22 now – throughout Isabella, Gratiot, Montcalm, Mecosta and Clare Counties. Visit for more information.

In addition to protecting private land and managing preserves open for public recreation, we provide a multitude of opportunities for people to engage in environmental education events. We host many volunteer outings to support the critical conservation work we are all a part of. Business sponsorship allows us to fulfill our obligation of protecting land in perpetuity. We hope you will sincerely consider partnering with us.
